Re: 1st trimester
It took us a long time to get pregnant and even though tI knew that exercise wasn't bad or wouldn't "do" anything to the pregnancy, I still backed off A LOT. Also, I was very tired. Pre-pregnancy I ran 6 miles 5 days a week- 1st trimester I did a combo of very slow, gentle running and walking for 4 miles maybe 3-5 times a week. That changed at about 15 weeks. I got more energy, I was comfortable with the pregnancy, and I found that I could get back to my pre-pregnant routine (but still a lot slower).
Like the pp said, don't completely stop your activity. If you're tired or don't feel comfortable, it's still important to get yourself out there and at least walk. That way when you do feel better you've still maintained a certain level of fitness. Plus, the activity really helps keep uncomfortable symptoms away (I found that I had no m/s and the activity lessened the back pain I was getting!).
