Mini vacay suggestions

For x-mas my mom gave DH and i some $$ ($100... not much but something)towards a hotel for the weekend.  We decided on tsometime in February but now have no idea where to go. 

DH and i are on a REALLLLLY tight budget but really need the alone time.  We will probibly only stay over 1 night so we need somewhere w/in a reasonable driving distance to harford county.  got any suggestions??

    Cape May, NJ. You can take the ferry from Lewes, DE. And the off-season rates aren't bad with lots of beautiful bed and breakfast choices. The Jersey Shore is one of my favorite places.

    I grew up on the Jersey Shore... why i didnt think of cape may is beyond me ugh!! What a great idea.  My mother and i use to go every year while i was in college.  I bet rates will be great during the winter.

    Philly or NYC (Philly is prob less expensive).  We're hoping to go for some cheesteaks and south street which is fun!

    Skyline Drive in VA or Deep Creek Lake in western MD. (DH has been on me to go to one of these places so he can take scenic photographs.) Or the Poconos in PA.

    If you don't want to go very far this groupon deal is $99 for one night at either the Garmercy Mansion or the 1840s Carrollton Inn, which are B&B's in Baltimore. I've been to Gramercy before - it's nice. https://www.groupon.com/r/uu4090135

    I personally would choose Philly or NYC as PP mentioned.

    We're taking a mini vacay/babymoon in March to St. Michaels for a weekend for our final "getaway" before the baby comes. There are places there in different price points. Good luck ~ I'm sure anywhere you go you'll have a good time! Smile

    Downtown Annapolis is really nice, but would probably be better for warmer weather. DH and I did that for a one night trip alone. We stayed in a hotel outside of the downtown area and drove in to the harbor area to sit by the water, window shop, people watch, visit the Naval Academy, etc. They have a segway tour of downtown that I think would be so fun!

    Wherever you go, have fun! I'm dying for another one of these trips, it's been a loooog time for us!
