Am I being ridiculous?

We officially started TTC Friday.

All Saturday evening, I had a strong pain really low in my abdomen I had never had before. I chalked it up to having been standing around all day, working on my sister's house, though we'd been working on it all day, everyday for the past week without any problems. The only reason this came to mind was because it was a similar feeling to when I've been standing around all day with a tampon in, but this soreness was in my abdomen, instead.

Sunday, I woke up in the worst mood for no apparent reason, but then felt better after eating lunch.

Monday, I suddenly got dizzy while sitting down (something I've never had happen before) and frequently felt like I stood up too fast the rest of the day (even though I'd been eating and drinking water like normal).

I also had slight cramps and began spotting. I had a headache all day and woke up with it still this morning.

I feel like a complete freak for even thinking there's a possibility that these are symptoms of pregnancy, but we waited until after I had a normal period in December before TTC, and it came right on time. I'm not due for my next period until the 15th, so I don't know what to think. Am I crazy? Haha

    It's probably too early for any pregnancy symptoms if AF isn't due until 1/15.  They're probably just phantom symptoms because you're paying such close attention now that you're TTC.  Hope you get two pink lines in a few weeks, though!

    That's what I'm thinking. There could be several different reasons for each "symptom". The spotting is what threw me off and made me think there was a possibility, but I'm sure it'll turn out to be nothing, haha.

    I agree with this.  It's too early for pregnancy symptoms if you aren't due for AF until the 15th.  Good luck with ttc :)

    Yeah, you have some time to go if AF comes on the 15th... But I will tell you that when H and I were TTC, I had symptoms within a week of O- I was SUPER dizzy, emotional... The kicker was around 9 DPO I woke up in the middle of the night and it felt like something had zapped me in the ute -- like electricity or a shock or something. I cramped the whole next day.

    I guess I say all that to say that while it's early still, you CAN feel symptoms early. I knew I was pregnant a week before I POAS :)

    Thanks, ladies!

    I'm glad to know someone else had some weird things happen, haha.

    I don't have a feeling like I just KNOW I'm pregnant or anything, but everything that's been going on the past few days has definitely been out of the ordinary. I figured it could be related to implantation or something, but I'm not convinced of anything at this point. :)

    About a week before I found out I was pregnant (and when I found out I was 3wks 5 days) I noticed a considerable change in my mood. I  was crazy irritable...I got MAD and cried for 2 days about having BBQ at a shower.  It was insanely early to be having symptoms...but I don't know what else could have explained the irrational reaction to the BBQ.  Wink

    It is early for symptoms but you never know.  Good luck!!!

    BFP 8/13/13 - Natural MC 8/27/13
    Ovarian Mass = removal of left ovary & tube 9/13
    BFP 4/24/14 - Tubal Pregnancy 5/7/14
    Removal of  ruptured right tube 5/8/14
    IVF or adoption??

    Are you charting or using OPKs or anything?  If you have fairly "normal" 28-day cycles, then you should have been ovulating around the 1st when you said you felt the abdominal pain.  It could have just been you ovulating.  I know several of my friends have also said that they felt so moody and irritable around their O day that they wonder how in the world they got PG since they wanted nothing to do with their husbands.  Hoping that's what that pain was, good luck!

    I'm not using anything to track ovulation, so you're probably right. After I posted, I read that it's normal to have some spotting when you ovulate, so I bet that's what it is (which makes SO much more sense).
