We have an idea of what we want and put it on our registry so that we can purchase it later after we move. For the moment, I'm only getting our bassinet.

We have our furniture picked out, we're just waiting to see if it goes on sale. We should have taken advantage of the Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales, but it was still early in the pregnancy so I didn't want to buy furniture yet.

We have not purchased furniture yet either; however, we have picked one out that we like from JCPenney! We are going to order it within the next two weeks! I still think you have plenty of time, so no worries!!

Nope, not at all! I've been doing a lot of thinking about it, though Geeked

We're in a different situation than most, though. No extra bedroom, less than ideal part of the city. I've started arranging our room, though, and doing deep cleaning/purging. Since we're on such a tight budget I'm also pondering what's really needed. Hmm.

You have time!

I actually found a bunch of stuff at a consignment sale when I was like 5 weeks along! I just knew I couldn't pass up the deals and bought everything and threw it in the garage! Now I just need to get it cleaned up and upstairs.

So, even though I have the furniture, I'm no closer to ready than you!

We've looked, but only casually. I kinda know what I want, but not sure how much we are going to spend yet. Our budget is MUCH more flexible than when we had DD1, so that opens a lot more avenues for us. Not jumping into anything yet - there is time.

We had our bedding at 10 weeks, and not a thing since then.

We do have plans to register this weekend.

We haven't really looked or anything else. DH and FIL are planning on building the crib- we bought the plans... but that's as far as we've gotten.

I've been looking, but we probably won't buy anything until at least April. It will seriously take only a day to set up the nursery and we want to keep it an office for as long as possible. I really don't want to buy the furniture and let it sit in the box for months, in case there is an issue with it.

We have not purchased any furniture yet either. So far, we have only decided on what crib we want to purchase (Graco Lauren). I have not been able to find a dresser that I like.

we picked out what we wanted at 12 weeks then once it went on sale for 50% off we snatched it up. We weren't in a hurry- just wanted to get more bang for our buck- we would have waited until early April for a sale, then bought full-price if need be.

We just started looking this past weekend when inlaws were in town. We plan to make a trip to Tampa this weekend and hit up 3 baby furniture stores. I really want to order the furniture by the end of the month, even though we still have plenty of time.

We've been browsing furniture but wont be buying till after LO arrives, or very close to her arrival if it needs to be ordered. We are moving cross country after she is born and don't want to haul more than necessary, she will be sleeping in a PnP until then.

We are also cramped for space so we haven't bought/borrowed/stolen any furniture yet. I've finally freaked out enough that we've started deep cleaning everything and giving a lot to Goodwill. We've got a long ways to go in re-arranging what furniture we do have so that we can even fit anything more than a moses basket in our place, much less a dresser, changing table, crib, etc. We're also trying to figure out what we desperately need versus what would just be really nice to have. (This is happening with all stuff, not just furniture.)

I've got a couple of people looking to get rid of baby furniture so I'm planning on going there before going to the store. I mean, if it has teeth marks on it then I don't have to worry about the flakes/splinters getting in my baby's mouth right? Also, if it comes sans bite marks then it will quickly get them after the baby can stand up in the crib and starts gnawing on things as it teethes.

I'm not an expert, but worrying about doing it "the right way" as opposed to a way that works for you seems to be counter productive. Just getting it done by delivery is probably the biggest deadline.

I have not even started to look at furniture, let alone buy any. DH said that his grandfather had a dresser he thinks would be good for the baby, but I am waiting until I see it in two weeks before making any furniture decisions.
