Am I the only one? It seems like everyone on here is talking about already starting their 2 week appointments. I just went in at 32 weeks, go back at 36, 38, and then weekly from there. Is this strange? I don't feel like I NEED to be going any more often than that, but it concerns me that everyone else is doing it differently..
Re: Not starting 2 week appts until 36 weeks
I'm starting mine at 34....I think. At 29 weeks he wanted me back in 3, so Friday puts me at 32 weeks, and then he mentioned seeing me every 2. Trust me...I'd rather put it off a little bit more. It's an all day event in that office. I need to learn to knit or something.
I was kinda assuming it had something to do with Tricare. I really am not too worried about it and I know I can go in if something comes up. Just an interesting situation I guess and it seems that no civilian docs do it this way. Oh well lol.

It doesn't seem like you should worry about it. I think all doctors are different, and most of them would probably see you more if you were having problems. Hooray for you if you and baby are healthy enough that you doctor feels good not seeing you that often.
If you still feel uncomfortable, you could ask your doc why he does it this way!
I have Tricare Prime as well and I'm on the same schedule. I definitely think it's a military thing.
