Bum Genius diaper sprayer

Ok any tips here ? Cause when I spray it, water freaking sprays out and sometimes on me ( off the diaper ). I'm close to being done with the cloth diapers.

I'm ok with washing and spraying and everything, but I don't need poopy water landing on my feet.

    I hold the poopy diaper by a clean edge and let the rest fall into the toilet. I fist spray the sprayer into the toilet then gently spray the diaper starting at the bottom, while still spraying downward. It keeps the spraying out of toilet to a minimum.

    We made our own sprayer, but I'll assume it hooks up to the outlet the same.

    We just turned down the pressure from the wall when we used our sprayer and then turned it back up after I was done with it. 

    you'll find your 'sweet spot' of pressure, enough to get poop off but not enough to squirt you:)

    We do a combo of both pp.  I also keep a cleaning solution on hand and quickly wipe down the toilet after (since a little does still get on the "seat" (what is the part under the seat called???).  That seems to work for us.
