Back from CVS

Rom took the day off so I don't need to run after Action Baby today, and I actually do get to put my feet up and take it easy.  We've got a nice, normal limb count and a speedy little heartbeat, but it looks like some of the innards haven't tucked in quite yet. We go back in for a followup to make sure that resolves itself in a couple of weeks.  Tomorrow's a normal appointment with my OB, and we get the CVS results within 10 days.

Once we get the results, if all goes well we can announce to the family then!  Wee!

    That is great Amy.  Is there concern about the innards? Are you going to learn the gender?

    Well, normally I guess the baby's intestines tuck in by about 10 weeks, so it's a little late.  She didn't look super-worried about it.

    We're totally interested in the gender.  It cuts down the number of names we have to come up with!

    That is such wonderful news!!! The fact that they didn't seem worried about the intestines is great. Hopefully the baby is just still developing and once you have another look, they'll be where they are supposed to be ;)

    I hope your still taking it easy today.  I'm glad the CVS went well. My philosphy with my pregnancy was if they doctors aren't concerned then I'm not going to be concerned until they tell me I should be.  I'm sure all will check out just fine at your next appt.  Can't wait to hear the results!

    Glad to hear it went well and you heard the heartbeat! It is good Rom took the day off to help you, I know I was just beat after my amnio - I can't imagine having to run around after Maddie.

    Good vibes that the innards stop being outtards and everything is fine.

    Can't wait to hear the awesome CVS results in a week or so.  If that little heart is beating so fast, then I bet that little one is working hard to get those innards IN!!  I will be thinking of you~    Smile
