Les Mills classes...love them!

Hi mamas!

I am 22 weeks pregnant, and a certified BodyAttack and BodyStep instructor.  I recently had to stop a few weeks ago, because it is too exhausting teaching and trying to be enthusiastic, and showing all of the high impact options.

BUT now I am LOVING just attending the classes!  I went to BodyFlow yesterday, and I try to go to BodyCombat and BodyAttack once a week and do the low options.

Anybody else continued doing the classes through the pregnancy?  What sort of modifications have you made?

Re: Les Mills classes...love them!

  • I'm not pregnant but just had to say how much I love Les Mills classes too.

I goto BodyFlow two times a week after my regular workout and it's my favorite class by far. I'd love to try BodyStep but hate trying new classes alone! Not a lot of my local friends are into the classes.

Good luck with your pregnancy! :)

  • I taught Bodypump to 41 weeks and Bodycombat to 40 weeks!  Definitely helped with delivery and recovery, I think.

I love the classes and especially love going to the quarterly workshops so I can take everything. . . even the stuff they don't offer at the gyms around here.

  • I'm still in TTC mode, but I LOVE BodyPump!  My favorite!!!
  • I love BodyAttack, BodyStep, and RPM!!  I'm about 6 weeks pg and feeling really good. I've continued to take classes but I've decreased my intensity a bit (primarily during the peak tracks). I'll definitely continue to exercise throughout pg, but really torn about the intensity, especially in classes where you're expected to push your body into anaerobic zone.  Any thoughts or experience with this?  What about thoughts from intstuctors?
