IVF insurance question

Has anyone switched insurance to get IVF and is infertility considered a preexisting condition?

Re: IVF insurance question

  • We will be next year, but our new insurance company covers preexisting conditions. I would just call the company you are switching to and they can answer your questions.

  • I have the same question! what state do you live in? I live in CT where there is a state mandate coverage but it said that there is a 12 mth waiting for new policy holders. I;m a little confused. I'm a nurse in a catholic hosptial and they believe god doesnt want me to have babies so they cover nothing!! on the bases of religion. So Im going on my dh's insureance. Well I hope it wall works out for you. good luck :)

  • I live in Iowa and my insurance covers nothing. I think your Catholic hospital policy is crazy.
