BFN -first IUI some ?

Hi Girls,

Today 14dpiui I had my b/w done and recieved a bfn :(. So now I am sitting and waiting for AF to come to start all over again. I have a few questions.

1. When should I expect AF? I know that seems really stupid but I have a very unusual cycle- meaning I Have no normal cycle at all. My cycles can be 62 days or 84 days. There is no pattern. Since this is my first time doing all my meds (clomid -((did 2 cycles prior not with these other meds-))+ trigger + metformin + IUI (along with estrogen and progesterone meds) I thought I would probably get AF today but not yet and no cramps or anything. Is this because of the progesterone?

2. Is there any way to help increase my follicles? I only had 1-18mm while taking 100mg clomid. My RE said they will increase me to 150 this time, I just wondered if there was a way to increase them or a reason that I am not growing them on my own.

 

3. Has anyone seen a difference on how Clomid makes you feel from 100-150?

    Sorry about your BFN =(.  To answer some of your questions:

    1)  You won't get AF if you're still on the progesterone. My dr advises me to stop the progesterone if I test BFN on or after day 14piui. FWIW, being on the clomid and trigger did not alter my menstrual cycles. I got them on time as expected.

    2)  Not sure if your OOP, but have you considered moving to injectables since you're not responding as well as you'd like on that dosage of Clomid? You may respond better to the 150mg dosage but may not.  

    3) I've never been on 150mg of Clomid but for me there was a huge difference between taking 50mg and 100mg. With my monitored cycles, I was on 50mg twice and produced 2 mature follies each time. With the 2x on 100mg, I made 3 follies one time and 5 another.
