First AF after miscarriage

I had a natural miscarriage on December 9th and only 3 short weeks later I got my ugly and unwanted AF.  I want my baby back, but some nasty bi*** came instead.  Anyway today was my first day back at work- yey I love my Kindergarteners and AF decided to be extremely heavy and before I knew it I had bled through my pants! Yes you heard that right!UGH!!  So for one my period I believe came earlier than most and was WAYY heavier than ever before! 

 Anyone else have such a heavy flow to the point of bleeding through?

    Oh honey I feel ya. AF visited me yesterday, but I couldn't be sure it really was the old ***. Today I didn't bleed all day and then I bled through my pants at 4 while I was still at the office. Grr. She really can be awful. I'm so sorry that you're having to deal with this. Hopefully this is the last time she will visit both of us for a long long time.
    After two losses, a rainbow arrived! DD born 11.5.11
    Dx with severe Asherman's syndrome after a botched PP D&C (pursuing med mal)
    Hysteroscopy Oct '13, not enough progress 
    Hysteroscopy Jan '14, given an end-of-the-road diagnosis
    Joined International Asherman's Association April '14 
    Not ready to give up yet.
    Hysteroscopy with Dr. Isaacson (an expert in the USA) 6.2.14: Good prognosis, at least 50% of cavity open.
    Repeat hysteroscopy scheduled with Dr. I on 6.16.14. Great progress. Unbenched!!!!
    Discussing actively TTC with DH after the heartache of the last year. We're both reeling.

    I know how you feel, I had a natural miscarriage on Dec. 20th. It's only been two weeks, so I haven't had a visit from AF yet. When I bled out during my misscarriage, it was much heavier than any normal period. I'm also a Kindergarten teacher and it's hard to stay upbeat in front of the kids when all I think about is my baby. Good luck to you :)

    Don't get me wrong- my baby is on my mind all day long- I always believed he was a boy(yet way to early to know).  I think about him a lot and i love him and miss him growing inside of me dearly, yet I somehow put the feelings aside while I have them in class.  I know it's hard to do it while extremely sad, but if you let them into your heart especially while it is aching, they may be able to help you put a smile on your face without even trying! As you know i'm sure they do some amazing things!  :-) My love and hugs during this rough time- and YES let's hope it is the last AF for a VERY LONG TIME!

    I had a missed m/c back in October and I had a horrible time during my first AF. I was so freaked out that I called my OB.  She said it was normal to have heavy flow and bad cramping the first cycle. 

    If it gets worse or continues, call your OB.  Even if its nothing and everything is okay, it'll make you feel better to get a professional opinion.

    Its pretty common for AF to be heavier than before the loss in the months soon after or for the length of the cycle to change.

    I usually have pretty heavy periods after miscarriage so I'm waiting on mine (after just finishing bleeding from my latest miscarriage).  Stinks that we all have to go through this!!!!

    My periods are heavy in general, actually my miscarriage was kinda like my periods but a different consistency...I havent gotten AF yet...m/c was on 12/23..wondering when and what it will be like!
