I have been lurking and finally want to jump in! My history is I am married with 3 children, I am a RN but a SAHM now. We thought we were done and MH had a vasectomy after our 3rd was born. We had regrets years later and had a reversal done. My youngest was 9 when we got our miracle bfp after 1.5 years of trying with clomid and IUI with male factor and pcos.
My son is 10 months old now and we are trying again so he has a same aged sibiling to grow up with. I am 31. Nobody here mentions their age that I have noticed so maybe I shouldn't have stated mine? But for me the clock feels like it is speeding up and I really want another. We have tried 3 rounds of clomid and IUI. I now have 5 cm cysts on each ovary. I have pcos and the one on the left has been there for years. They just monitor it. The one on the right is new and I am very uncomfortable and sad.
I am seeing a RE. I did not ovulate this month. I go in for an ultrasound and will probably start provera tomorrow. We pay all OOP. We have a family but it is not complete and all this is very costly. I would like feedback about how far you have gone with the money aspect of TTC. We are thinking of saving for IVF but that would take 2 years.
I have reached my lifetime maximum on clomid. 6 cycles. Has anyone done more than that? I have not tried femera or injectables. I really cannot see how I could get pregnant with these huge cysts but my RE thinks we have a shot. BCP never shrink mine. He refuses to drain them unless I go for IVF.
Can I try femera after my lifetime maximum of clomid? Has anyone else had to deal with huge cysts?
I pray that you all get your bfp's very soon. TTTC hurts.

Welcome! I don't have the answers to your questions, but I know a lot of women on here can relate to having cysts after clomid and you will get some great info here.
I did want to say that I'm 34 and you should NOT feel like time is speeding up. I know the waiting is awful, but you should not feel like age is against you. My OB called me young when I saw her, probably bc in NYC she treats women well into their 40s.
Good luck, I hope you are successful soon
