DH is amazing...and I'm spoiled

After being gone almost 2 weeks over the holidays...our normally clean house looked like a tornado hit when we came home, because we were to tired to unpack. The last two days have been crazy as we got the house back in order. Our bedroom was hit the worst, and I kept putting it off. It was my chore to tackle today. I was NOT in the mood. DH works nights and sleeps till noon or later during the day. I got home from work and found that DH had gotten up at 7 am after working till 4 and cleaned the entire bedroom, did the dishes, and even scrubbed the toilet. I opened my notebook where I keep my to do list and found it completely crossed off. In permanent marker over it he had written: TO DO- Put your feet up and relax. Read the book you've been dying to read. Oh, and there is ice cream in the freezer for you!" WOW is he great or is he great???? I think this calls for his favorite meal tomorrow.....

That's FANTASTIC! I love my husband but I can't imagine him doing all of that! Tell your DH that all the girls on the May board are swooning!

I was rather pleased though when DH had Monday off and I didn't and he brought me breakfast and later sparkling water (I work from my home office upstairs).

Major brownie points! It's one thing that he did all that cleaning, but the icing on the cake was the note (and the ice cream hehe). What a fab DH!

Please have your husband contact mine & give him some pointers. LOL! Though I get told to relax and put my feet up, he never fully crosses off that to-do list!
