2nd Trimester

m/s in 2nd tri blows

I was starving last night, so I ate some cheerios.  Then....not even an hour later, I threw them up.  Damn.  I woke up at midnight starving again.

I threw up twice with DD, both times around 17 weeks.  This is puke #2 (I know, I"m lucky, but I've felt sick almost the entire time), so I think I'm going to pass what I did last time.

I just wanted to be done with this!

  • Wow.  We were almost barf buddies.  Right around then I was throwing up too.  I had been feeling sick, so since hubs was on his way home and stopping for himself, he brought me dinner.  Not 5 min after eating french fries and a whopper jr, I was tossing my cookies.  Er.  Whopper. Not pretty.

  • It sure does suck. I went to my class and puked there. I haven't been sick in two weeks:-( I hope today is better for you!
  • The funny part of having m/s is that you kind of learn what foods are ok to throw up and what foods are miserable to throw up.  Not that it's ever fun to throw anything up, but after throwing up OJ, I realized there were better foods/drinks to be upchucking.

    I hope you feel better!

  • Oh definitely Jessimurph.  Hot chocolate isn't so bad.  I did that once when I was really sick about 10 years ago.

  • I am totally with you. Not only does puking in second tri suck.  It hurts like a motha too!  Yesterday morning while throwing up my english muffin (btw an easy throw up)  I thought I was going to throw out my back in the process.  DH had to help me up off the floor when I had finished bowing to the porcline gods.

  • I puked this morning on an empty stomach.  I hate that.  I've found that salad is pretty awful to throw up.  I agree with the pp that english muffins are not so bad.
