Hey lady!  I hope you had a great holiday.

Have you made any decisions about your next step?

  • Hey girlie! Holiday was ok, it sucked not to be able to tell about the pregnancy...since I lost it two days before Christmas. But really I'm ok about it...it's as if I've lost something I never had in the first place since we never knew for sure if I was pg until it was already too late.

We are going med-free this month but still with TI. I plan on making an appt with the RE for next cycle.

Thanks for checking up on me! How are you?

  • So sorry about your c/p.  I've never experienced one, but I know from other's experiences that they are quite emotional and heartbreaking.

I'm excited for you to move to an RE.  Did you find on close to you that's going to work out?  It took me about 2 weeks to get in with mine, so you may want to go ahead and call for an appt.

As for this cycle, sex it up and have fun Smile

I'm doing well.  Just growing by the day and counting the days until I have outside babies.

    Keep me posted!

  • Yeah, I'm going to try to call maybe at lunch today to set it up. I'm excited about seeing a fertility specialist but I'm also worried about the cost.

Twin boys is so exciting!! Do you have any names picked yet?...Sorry, I know pg people get tired of hearing that question...lol

  • The biggest cost for us was the meds because they cover at 50%.  Which I know is a lot better than what some have.

Once you make your appt, the office will send you a welcome packet and patient history forms.  It's seriously like 12-15 pages of stuff to fill out and sign.  You can fax everything into them and when you go for your initial consult, they will have ran all of your insurance information and will be able to tell you the exact cost of procedures and such.  If you don't do any of the bloodwork at your first appt, all you pay is your $30 copay.

I think I told you, but Dr. Long was my RE.  But I know people that have been successfull with each of the 4 REs in the group.

We are very excited about the boys.  We've talked about names, but have not completely nailed them down.  We were both convinced it was a boy and a girl, so we hadn't even thought of 2 boys names. So we had to start at the beginning.
