Maternity leave & coworkers AW!

We have a stipulation in the union contract (and therefor our employee handbook) where employees can give sick time to each other in limited chunks. One of my coworkers just said that she and those willing could shower me with extra days for my maternity leave. That would be so invaluable. As it is, I'm only taking 8 weeks, and will only have enough sick/vacation to get paid for about 6 of those. I love my coworkers.

That is so nice! Makes it nice to go back to work after your leave when you know the people you work with care. I'm not getting paid for any of the 9 weeks I'm taking and I don't have short term disability

the dr I work for sent me a paycheck (a full one too) just cause, and a huge Christmas bonus to help us out. She's so sweet. Makes me look forward to going back to work (a little ) lol
