moving to toddler room :(

I didn't expect to be quite so emotional about Olivia moving to toddler room.  We've grown so attached to the ladies in the infant room.  They've been with her since she was 6 weeks old!!

She was scheduled to do a slow transition over the next couple weeks, but they said that she's done so well that they're going to move her full-time starting Friday.  Crying

  • Oh, mama.  I'm RIGHT there with you.  We're still "transitioning" as you know from yesterday but I'm just kind of waiting for the final word that they're moving her to the 2s room permanently.

Hang in there. I'll be thinking of you.

I'm sorry, Kelley! Wow, that's great that she's been in the same room this whole time! Ella is now in room #3 (they have a transitional room for crawlers and early walkers). It's sad every time.

  • Those transitions are tougher on us moms than the kids.  I'm glad to hear that she's doing so well.  Hang in there, Mom.

  • I was a total wreck when Nick moved up, and shed some tears.  But after a few weeks, it became really clear to me that he was ready for the change.  I feel like he learned a ton when he moved up.  We're about to move to the 2's room and I'm pretty nervous because i love his current teachers but I'm trying to tell myself it will be like last time.
  • Aww ((hugs))
