Any OB recommendations near North/ N.E. Portland?

Hi,

does anyone know any obs who are located near n/n.e portland and deliver at Emanuel hospital?  I am looking for one who is not so "medical", but can be similar to a midwife (I have a midwife now, but might have to switch to an ob) and would be supportive for a natural birth.

    I go to Dr. Williams at EveryWomen's Health, which is in Emanual Hospital. She's pretty laid back and up on all the latest medical studies. She didn't deliver my baby, but my friend said she was very supportive of what they wanted as their birth plan. I did also really like the doctor who did deliver DD, also in the EWH group.

    Ditto Lara Williams.  She trained with midwives and is very supportive of unmedicated births as long as everyone is healthy.

    Yes, I too recommend Dr. Laura Williams at Every Woman's Health through Emanuel Hospital.  She's very supportive of naturopathic medicine and Chinese medicine, etc and often encourages it throughout your pregnancy.

    I actually have heard of her, so I will take your recommendation if I can't stay with my midwife.  Congrats on your new baby!

    I'm late on this one but I just wanted to jump in and say I adore Dr Williams. She's been my OB for three+ years now and through two pregnancies and she's the best. She didn't deliver my daughter Lucy because she was out of town, but I'm hoping she's able to deliver this one coming in March.

    I just started going to Dr Williams and I was so impressed with her! Very supportive, had great suggestions (more than whipping out the prescription pad).
