Jeremy got a tattoo for Mikayla. :)

When I was pregnant he mentioned that he'd probably want to get a tattoo to honor the baby when she arrived so his mom gave him a gift card for his favorite tattoo shop.  He came home inked up!  It's "Mikayla Jean", written in Korean, on his calf - he'd asked my parents to write her name in Korean so he'd be sure it was right.  He wants to add a little more to it later, probably her footprints from when she was born and maybe the date.  Ain't that just precious?  :)  I should take a pic of it when it's finished.

I want one now!

    I thought you meant he got a fake tattoo to put on Mikayla and I was going to say, don't you be markin up that child, she's too adorable ;) jk of course, mark her up if you so choose ;)

     That is an ADORABLE idea....I love it!  Do take pictures.

    Oh that sounds really cool!  My DH has one for P on his arm.  It's her name in this fancy lettering with her birthdate both written vertically from his wrist to his elbow.

    I want one for our kids too!  I was thinking of getting a family of ducks - a papa,mama and two baby ducks in a row signifying our little family on my foot.  Or some other sort of animal family that would be cute.  Elephants would be cute because they all could be hanging on to each other's tails but I think when it fades, they'd look like big ol' blobs of ink.  lol

    Ha ha, Iggs.. inking the baby!  Maybe if it said "Mom" with a heart???

    Pix the ducks is SUCH a cute idea!  I was thinking some kind of animal too, maybe a chipmunk because she's got those cheeks.  :)~

    That is so neat, my DH wants to get one for our daughter (he already has 4 tattoos)

    DD middle name is Rose which is also  MIL middle name , so he wants to get a rose with DD First name on it along his shoulder blade.

    How cute!! I want to get Isabelle's name and dob added to the one tattoo I have on my ankle. I'll have to get some ideas together. Be sure to share pics when his is done!

    I plan to get Tillman's newborn footprint tattooed on my stomach...right where he use to kick the most (left side, just under my rib).  I dn't know what is taking me so blasted long to do it.  I think James is going to get Tillman's hane or handprint one of these days, too.

    TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

    I love the idea!!  You should definitely get one too; however, once you start, you get addicted.  I got one and have wanted more and more for the longest time.  DH and I plan on getting one when Ray San comes home.  Our little present to one another for making it through so long in the NICU =]
