I just had a baby via emergency C section

Eli James made his very dramatic entrance at 3:25 today. His cord was wrapped around his neck twice and he gave us all quite a scare, but he's doing fine in the NICU now. He might have pneumonia but we're praying he doesn't and gets to leave with us on Friday morning. I only got to see him for a few seconds before they took him away, but he's beautiful and looks just like his mom, hehe. He's also enormous, 21 &1/2 inches and 8.9lbs.

I'll type out the full birth story soon, I'm going to eat some jello, pump, and wait for them to tell me I can go see him.

Congrats! I am glad everything went well with the C-section. My T & P are with you that baby goes home with you on Fri. I hope you get to see and hold baby soon.
