I've vented here before about noise in the apartment upstairs from us. It was vacant for a while but now the landlord's daughter and two friends have moved in and they're loud. I'm hoping it's just because they're still moving stuff in but it sounds like they drop weights from a standing height every single night.
I know that expecting people to be quiet just because Aiden is asleep is unreasonable, especially because he goes to bed at 7. But regardless of a baby's schedule, what time do you think is reasonable to ask they quiet the eff down? I don't want to start a war since it's the landlord's daughter but it's getting frustrating. I need a house, and damn fast :-p
Re: What's a "reasonable time?"
I feel your pain. Our neighbors are sooooo loud. It is a single mother living with her dad and 2 kids and those kids are out of control. Up till midnight every night. Young kids. I am about at my wits end.
But to answer your question, I would say 9.
I would say 9pm too. And every apartment I have lived in had "quiet hours" built into the lease, starting at either 8pm or 9pm.
