Bedding sets--2nd time moms

We bought a convertible crib/toddler bed and I was wondering if the quilt that comes with most bedding sets, fits a toddler bed? Is this what most people use it for? Besides hanging it on the wall as a nursery decoration? Thanks for your input!

    Yes it does fit toddler beds.  No idea what most people do, but that is exactly what we're using it for right now.  I just bought a toddler sheet set that matches

    Yes, it technically fits. 

    Ours was a quilt, that was a little thick and stiff for what DS likes.  He likes something a little lighter and softer.  So I, like many other moms are left with several pieces of the fancy set that we didn't ever use.  Sigh.
