** I know I have not made a formal intro here, but I'm hoping some of you I know from MC/PL and TTCAL can maybe help me out. I originally posted on TTCAL but upon the suggestion of another poster I moved it over here. **
Last night I got what I believe to be a BFP. A faint, but clear second line that was pink/purple just like the control line (Wondfo internet cheapie). I tested two more times last night, got an extremely faint line on one test and no line on the other test. Then I tested again this morning with FMU and two more tests. Another very very faint line on one cheapie, and no line on the second cheapie.
I saved my FMU and bought a FRER to confirm (now) on my lunch break... BFN. But I got another suuuper faint line on a cheapie.
Oh, and I am also 14 dpo with no AF. I have had a 12 day LP for the past five cycles. I have been having some very sporatic brown spotting (like one small streak once or twice a day) for the past four days, but no other signs of impending AF.WTF is going on with my body? Is it possible the FRER just isn't detecting it, or do you think I really did get a batch of sh!tty Wondfos and a lot of false positives? Should I call my doctor? I am going crazy over here!
Re: I don't know WTF to think (possible BFP?)
To be perfectly honest, FRERs are pretty sensitive, in my experience - they picked up my BFP the same time the Wondofos did.
That being said, it seems unlikely you would get a bunch of defective tests.
Your only options are to wait and retest if AF doesn't show, or call your doctor for betas.
I agree with PPs. I got SUPER faint lines on my internet cheapies, and couldn't handle it anymore. Use FMU with a digital, and hopefully you'll have an answer in the morning!
Good luck!

My experience has been the same as ambrandau's... FRERs are very sensitive (possibly the most sensitive I personally have ever seen) and they have always been the first to detect my BFPs no matter what other brand of HPT I am comparing them to (and believe me, I have used them all lol).
I agree with the others, I would wait until tomorrow morning and then use FMU to test with a digital. I know digitals aren't known to be as sensitive as some other tests, but they have always worked for me and even confirmed my BFP at as early as 9DPO this cycle.
Good luck!
I totally agree. I got a clear line on a FRER and was still getting BFN's and super, super faint lines on $ store tests. I would take a FRER or a digital right away with FMU tomorrow morning. Good luck!
And I do believe I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle, but it was never confirmed by my doctor because I got my period the day after my BFP. Which is why I am even more nervous about the spotting and BFNs. I do really appreciate the feedback though. Thanks again!

Personally I found that the Wondfos are even more sensitive than FRER, shockingly enough since they cost like pennies.
I'd POAS in the morning and see what comes up. GL!

probably because you didn't use fresh fmu
I will definitely test again tomorrow with some fresh FMU. I know hcg eventually breaks down, but I didn't realize using FMU "fresh" would make such a huge difference. That makes me feel better.
I'll probably use the FRERs I bought today, since I splurged on the three-pack. But if I'm still getting ambiguous results after that I'll definitely pick up a digital!
Thanks again ladies... You will definitely be seeing me again if I get good results!
