IUI #2 Complete

I just wanted to say thank you for all the good luck wishes. IUI #2 was done this morning. DHs counts were a little disappointing only 2.8 million but the nurse said they were fine. For IUI #1 I think it was around 15 million. Has anyone else?s H counts differ like that?

    I don't have any advice bc we haven't done any IUI's yet but I wanted to wish you tons of good luck! Fingers crossed for you girl! :)

    For our first IUI MH numbers were horrible.  SO horrible they almost cancelled the cycle.  I didn't find out how bad they were until the 2nd IUI when my nurse said wow YH's numbers are much much better this time.  WTH??  If I would have known how bad they were the first time I would have kept the $350.00 in my pocket and not suffered thru that 2ww for nothing.

    SO having said that, remember that it only takes one and when they "wash" the swimmers they remove the bad ones which are obsticles for the good ones.  GL and try to stay positive!!

    I have only had one IUI so I dont know about variation in post wash counts.  I just wanted to say good luck.  It only takes one perfect swimmer right?

    Thanks! The nurse told me that they will not cancel the IUI as long as his count was over a million. I guess I was shocked at the difference. He did abstain 3 days for the first one and only 2 day for the second one but to have almost a 12 million difference with just one day is crazy.

    For the 2WW I'm just going to keep telling myself that "it only takes one"

    Best of luck!  I know it's hard when you don't get the best news, but honestly out of so many iuis I've seen, I've seen plenty where ppl get their bfp when the count was lower than previous iuis.  I hope that's the case for you and that this is it!
    11/10: IUI #1 =100mg Clomid CD4-8 + pregnyl trigger + IUI = chemical pregnancy
    1/11: IUI #2 = 5mg Femara + trigger + IUI = BFN
    2/11: IUI #3 = injectibles + trigger + IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 April 2011 ER 4/23 w/16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fert., 4 blasts to freeze, 5dt of 2 blasts on 4/28, beta #1 5/7 = 243... beta #2 5/9 = 491....beta #3 5/11 = 1113!!

    Good luck! I just posted before- had mine today as well... and MH's count was 3.9 million, which is about 30 million less than the first IUI, so I was pretty devastated since we also have a morph issue and could use as many as possible to overcome it.  But I know that it is bc he was only able to abstain for 16 hours (I unexpected O's sooner than my RE thought).  But our nurse was really positive and has said she's seen it work with that number.  I hope this is the one for you guys!

    My nurse told me the same thing. She said anything over a million it still good but like you said with the morph problem I just worry the chances are less when the number are so low but like everyone keeps saying it only takes one. Good luck hon!

    I had my 2nd IUI this past sunday morning. Our numbers for our first IUI was only 2 million and this time is was 22.2 million. So Im guessing that its normal for it to happen. Good luck in the 2WW though! Hope our 2nd times are our last! :)
