Happy New Years, instead of Happy New Year. It isn't plural. That drives me nuts.

That and also, "I'm so busy." I really feel like saying, who isn't? lol

I hate when people say mines. There is no s at the end of the word in the connotation that my coworkers use it. "That food on the counter is mines." *bangs head against wall*

When people have their anatomy scan I hate when they say the baby "showed the goods" or refer to it as the "money shot". It skeeves me out for some reason.

I hate when people say that they have to find out the gender so they can plan. To me, it insinuates that people not finding out the gender are unprepared. Totally ridiculous and totally not true, but it still bugs me.

OMG YES!!! I remember when I was in HS I got into somewhat of an argument with my bf's mom because I said I couldn't care less and she corrected me. I was like ummm well if you break it down actually I could care less doesn't really make that much sense.

jacob also says it in eclipse. dh and i watched it a few weeks ago. it wasn't that great of a movie anyways, but as soon as i heard that, it was all over for me. lol.

When people refer to boobs as "the girls." Ugh. I don't know why.

And when people say "expresso" instead of "espresso." If you're going to be so pretentious to order one, you sure as heck better know how to spell it!

We have alot of stores here called Meijer, like Wal-Mart. Most people say it as Meijers, there is no S on the sign on the building people!!

And... this one's a bit nitpicky, and I rarely hear it said correctly... but it drives me bonkers when I hear someone use the plural of "in-law" wrong. Such as:

"Both of my mother-in-laws like to be called..."

It's mothers-in-law - not mother-in-laws.

We have Meijer here too and I am sooo guilty of this. I have always said it like that. But I hate it when people add the S to Wal-Mart and Kmart. LOL.

You have 2 mothers, so it's mothers-in-law. If you were just speaking about your in-laws in general then you put the s after in-laws because that is what you are making plural and it's not gender specific. I think that makes sense?

when people say "jury" instead of "jewelery" and "Arah" when saying the letter "r" ...it makes me want to pull my hair out.

oh and the "i could care less" instead of "...couldN'T..." makes me crazy too!
