AW-Florida girl in the snow (new siggy pic)

We went to the ILs for Christmas - they live in the Raleigh, NC area.  It started snowing late Christmas night, and when we awoke the next day we had 5-6 inches of snow!  Now, I know for those of you "up north", this is not a big deal, but for me - I've lived in Florida since 1986 and haven't been in snow in ages!  Even though most businesses were closed that day, my IL's found a store that was open that sold baby snowsuits and boots so we could take D out in the snow.  It was such fun!

Now - we're back to wearing shorts.....Paradise

  • Yay for snow! :) What did Delaney think?

My MIL sent us a pic of snow on their deck. They were so excited. They live in Wendell which is on the outskirts of Raleigh.

  • She wasn't so sure at first since she couldn't move so well in the snow suit.  But after I put some snow in her hands, she started smiling.

My IL's live in Cary - not sure where that is in relation to Wendell, but we drove all over the greater Raleigh-Durham area while we were up!

  • OMG, that looks like a child torture photo! Wink I may have to report you to CPS. So wrong!

I don't like snow and think that anyone that volunteers to go outside in it while not encased in a vehicle with a working butt heater should be checked into an asylum.

    She is cute though!

  • They aren't too far apart. Cary is west of Raleigh, Wendell in east.

Cary Towne Center is one of my favorite malls around that area! :)

    I'm glad she enjoyed it!!

  • That's so cute!  I wonder if we will have snow in Texas this year??  We might have to venture "home" to Indiana or Wisconsin next winter, so M can experience the white stuff.
