Is it true that when they move the dosage around it affects egg quality? I was on 125 iu for 2 days then 100 iu for 3 days then the bumped me back up to 125 and now I am worried.
This concerns me, could you tell me where you heard this info to even question it? I'm on follistim so this could potentially affect me. TIA.

I am not sure I about the answer but they always give me 2 days higher 75 iu and then I do 50 iu for the rest of the time. I really hope thats not the case. Last cycle they only did 50ui but I noticed it took forever for them to grow so I am thinking she wanted me to do two days higher so the follies could grow quicker.

I've never heard that adjusting your dose affects egg quality, and I've been around a looong time. It's necessary to adjust your dose in accordance w/ your E2. Where did you hear that?

I've never heard this...I've always heard that is the advantage to injects (well, one of the many)..that you can alter the dosage as needed and shown by monitoring appointments.
I am SO glad noone else has heard this! Last cycle when they lowered my dose and my E2 dropped I started googling and read it somewhere. Sorry, didn't mean to freak anyone out... I was freaking out myself!

Wow, this is not true according to my DR. (I am coming from the TTC >35 board. They usually start me higher and then lower it. I am on 4 vials of menopur and 2 of bravelle for 4 days. It was 4 bravelle and 2 menopur for about 7 days. So just trying to get them the right size. My egg quality is what it is, I am 40. But my Dr says your egg quality is determined by age basically. Good luck and dont freak yourself out.
