Well my nurse who is awesome...just called me.
My OAR came back fine and my day 10 blood work was in good grading as well. She said my results in their grading system was in excellant level. Well I am not sure how to feel...I am glad that I am okay but sad that my hubby may be the problem. My nurse has stated that Dr. M most likely will advise to remain with the IUI option to see how that goes. I will be having the bussiness office call me to give me the heads up on the cost of the IUI. I am curious on that cost of this...I know I have seen it over and over on this board. I will need to go search back.
I hope you all had a great holidays and hope to see more BFP accouncments come along. ![]()
Re: Hello ladies...updates on me.
OP: Good luck! Hope this is what works for you!
Is that the price for just the IUI? Are meds extra?
I am so new to understanding all of this...trying to get my head around everything.
Everything was oop for us.
Meds Gonal-F and Ovidrel not sure exact price but was about $1610
IUI including wash $350
Progesterone $224.40
Good luck with everything!
We are 100% OOP for everything and medicated IUI (Clomid with Ovidrel trigger) is $765. That includes baseline ultrasound, day 12 ultrasound, sperm wash and IUI. Meds are cheap through my clinic (Clomid $14 and Ovidrel $10) so I can't tell you average price of those.
But, as my friend in Chicago keeps telling me, I need to move to Illinois because all companies with over 25 employees are required to pay for IF treatment (including IVF!), so hopefully your insurance will help out.

April IVF Spring Chicks
Your info is INcorrect! IL is required by law to have SOME infertility coverage. Mine only has Diagnostic ONLY. And Clarrisa - our IUI will cost OOP $2553. That is for two ultrasounds, two rounds of blood work, clomid, trigger, progesterone, spermwash & the actual IUI. I am hoping that since my insurance medical coverage is seperate from the docs that it will actually be less than that without paying for the drugs...
