I loaned my sister in law my $400 worth of maternity clothes, she had her baby in october. I just emailed to get them back and she said they gave them away to their friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so freaking pissed right now. They said they would TRY to get them back, ummmm no you got tell them that the clothes didn't belong to you and you have to send them back to the owner. WTF every time I'm nice to my family it bites me in the azz. On a positive note looks like I get to go shopping again.

I would be livid! This is something my SIL would do, but they would've tried to sell them to make money!

I would be super mad too. That's a lot of money worth of clothes and even if it wasn't I can't believe she would just give your stuff away without asking you! I borrowed things from friends and labeled them on the tags so I give them back to the right people. It's so inconsiderate.
