  Yeah that makes no sense...hope they don't try to sell it or something? Who knows in this crazy world what people might do.  I am sorry this happened to you.  I had my car broken into once, I had left my purse on the front seat and they shattered my passenger's side window out to get to it.  They found my purse months later in a ditch near my house.  I know what a violation this is!

  We had our car broken into for the GPS also, the Monday before Thanksgiving.

  I am so sorry, it felt like such a violation to me, that someone was in my front yard while I was sleeping!

  Be careful and make sure they didn't take your garage door opener because your address is all over that paper work, and probably in your GPS and that will give them free reign of your house too.  Also watch your bank accounts to make sure they didn't write down account numbers if you had a checkbook in the car.  They might also have your driver's license information including your b-day depending what was on the papers, so you should probably get a credit report in a couple months just to check and make sure they didn't steal your Identity.
