Post C-section question

How long were you tender in your incision area after LO was born? My outer incision hasn't troubled me at all but the inner stitches have been painful from the get-go. I spoke with my OB about it and apparently this is normal, but I wanted to see how long some of you felt twinge-y and/or irritated by them.

It's been 3 1/2 weeks and it's still sore

I was sore for a good month-month and a half, depending on what I was doing. Wish I had better news, but my OB said that's pretty normal.

With my first I was tender on the skin for a year, inside maybe a couple months.
With the second, both were done being tender by 2 months, for sure.
With this last one, I feel good on the inside, but the outside I have a little lump that rubs on one side....so I just put Telfa over it.

The majority of my pain was gone by 4 or 5 weeks PP however even now at 9 weeks PP I still feel tenderness from time to time. Not really pain, but tenderness. I asked my OB and she said that her son is 15 months old and she'll still feel some tenderness from time to time. It has a lot to do with the nerves. Many are now exposed and will take time to "adjust".

im 14 weeks out and the incision feels fine but the area around it is stuill numb and tender if I bang it or put pressure on it. I guess it's bc of all the nerve damage, hope it gets better soon!
