House update: move is complete!

I wanted to say thanks to my nestie friends for all the support and good thoughts as we struggled with finding a place to live this fall. We finished up our move to our new home yesterday and are so happy. It's a single story, single family house built in the 1940s with a big landscaped yard not far from our old two story townhouse. It took us a whole week to move and the garage at the new place is stuffed to the gills with stuff for us to put away/donate/sell, but the old place is empty and DH is going to meet the agent for our old lender today to give them our keys (the one bright spot is they offered cash for keys).

Once we are all unpacked and settled in, I hope we can have a weekend play date in our big back yard!

Congratulations! More than anything I bet you guys will love, love, love having a big yard with your mover and shaker. I can't even fathom not having a huge yard with my crazy, busy boys. Enjoy and I have to come see it next time I get down to visit my brother.
