  Well, apparently it was a countdown to the news at the end - so sad!  Made me cry...  :-(

  Me: 30, DOR with a FSH of 12.5
  DH: 31, no issues
  4-6/2012 100mg of Clomid + trigger + IUI/TI = BFN
  7/2012 150mg of Gonal-f + trigger + IUI = BFN
  8/2012 Surprise unmedicated BFP!! Due May 8, 2013

  I saw the countdown too.. and I cried too.  

  it was such a sad ending.. i was really hoping that countdown was for something really good

  I haven't seen the end, but I'm super annoyed at her RE visit. Ugh. So not how that goes down. Unless the three I've been to do it differently, there's no physical exam involved. Just sayin.

  It's all throughout the episode.  They start at 50 and count down to 1.  You'll see the numbers on random items throughout the show.  BBQ bottles, books titles, door numbers, etc...

  And #1 is at the end of the show with the sad news.

  Marshall calls his parents, no answer.  He hangs up as Lily gets out of a cab and is crying.  Tells Marshall the news that his dad had a heart attack and didn't make it.  He died.

  I bawled like a baby at the end!! The acting was amazing, and the count-down added so much to the anticipation. What a great episode.
