One of my friends had a baby nurse 24/7 for the first 10 days. I believe she said it was around $250 per day or $2,500 for the 10 days.
I had another friend who only had a baby support person for the night hours so obviously that would be less. She also had a someone come in for 4 hours every other day and she was a support person for the mom. So, she would help with breastfeeding, light housekeeping, etc.
I have no idea how much the second two items cost but here are the companies my friend used for the night service and mother support services.
The rates range from $200-500 per 24 hour period. Most baby nurses are around $240-250 though. I've been doing a lot of research on this lately. Thanks again VTKendra for all of your recommendations.
