Ovidrel S/E

Hi Ladies,

Firewife suggested I come here for more support/answers from you knowledgeable ladies!

On Saturday around 1:30 a.m. H gave me my first ever Ovidrel injection. By 10 am the next morning I had the worst cramping on my left side (only have my left ovary)I've ever experienced and it lasted about 20 minutes, It was bad, I couldn't even stand up straight and laying down was just as painful. I assumed that was the Ovidrel ovulation pain but the s/e listed in the pamphlet weren't real clear to me.

What s/e have other people had?

    I did not have any s/es from Ovidrel, but I did have some pretty severe cramps from the IUI.  I have heard of some O pain after Ovidrel, though.  GL!

    Both times I have taken Ovidrel I have had very severe ovulation pains like you are describing.  I figured it was just from releasing multiple eggs.  Who knows.
