Need ideas for 1st birthday location...

When we had DD's 1st birthday, it was September so we could have the party inside and out.  Since DS's birthday is in February....we don't have that option.  We aren't going to go as big for him, but it will still be about 40 people.  Any ideas of a place we could have it in the Twin Cities?  We are in the N. Metro....

    Why don't you just have it at your house and hire an entertainer of some sort that would be interesting to a 1 year old...although I am not sure there would be.  Or just play games that are age appropriate for the attendees.

    We rented a room at the Maple Grove Community Center.  I am sure most community centers have something similar.

    Edinborough in Edina is great! Or the community center recommendation previously mentioned.

     

    The City of Mpls has lots of rooms that you can rent at ice/park shelters, so does the YMCA.
