I don't even know where to begin... from all I'm reading boys tend to pee thru their diapers a lot or leak out the sides... please help if you have figured this out!
When DS was a newborn we tried Huggies=fail Target brand=Fail. The only ones we could use were Pampers Swaddlers. We used them until he hit size 3 and they don'make them bigger than that. Then we were able to go back to Huggies.

We're a Pampers family. We used Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive until just recently, now we're using Pampers Baby Dry at night and Pampers Cruisers during the day. The only time we've ever had a leak was either b/c he needed to go up a size in the diaper or b/c it was the middle of the night and I hadn't changed him in a long time but had fed him.
We have used Pampers brand since the get go, but did try Huggies, Fisher Price and Luvs - none of them were as good - IMO. Like PP said, Swaddlers until size 3 as that is the largest they come in. When DS was ready for the next size, we started using Pampers Baby Dry size 4. Love them. Always use coupons or find great deals/promotions with Amazon.

We use pampers cruisers, I have tried huggies, luvs, target brand... all the them leaked in the middle of the night. I even bought a box of regular pampers and they were way too full for comfort in the morning. So we are back to pampers cruisers and will be until toilet time!
I have used a ton (Huggies, Pampers, Luvs, Kirkland) and I have never had a problem with any of them... I had enough newborn and size 1 diapers from my baby showers for the first 2 months and then I bought and used 2 boxes of the size 1/2 costco (kirkland) ones since they were really cheap and then I realized I had about 300 more size 2's (Huggies and Luvs) from my showers so I have been using that but once I finish using up those (prob in a couple of weeks) I have 3 cases of Costco size 3's that we will be using once we use up the 300 size 2's... I also have some size 4 (Huggies and Pampers) diapers from my showers too...

A Butterfly lies beside us
like a sunbeam
and for a brief moment,
its beauty and glory
belong to our world.
But then it flies on again.
And though we wish it could have stayed
we feel so lucky to have seen it.
In loving memory of MrsTyson's precious Julia.
Be sure the back of the diaper is pulled all the way up, all the ruffles around the legs are pulled out, and his penis is pointing down towards his toes!
We used Pampers Swaddlers for the first couple of months, then switched to Huggies, and then switched to cloth (Flip) diapers, which we love. We still use Huggies at night and they have to be the Lil Movers or they will leak...

Huggies and Kirkland both failed us.
We love pampers.
