  • I love Fix It and Forget It book. Pepsi Pot Roast is one of my favorite recipes from the book. Here's the recipe:

    Pepsi Pot Roast (Original Recipe)

    • 3 - 4 lb - Roast
    • 10 3/4 oz can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
    • 1 envelope of dry onion soup mix
    • 16 oz of Pepsi Cola
    1. Place the roast in the crock pot.
    2. Top the roast with the cream of mushroom soup and dry onion soup mix. Then pour the Pepsi over the meat.
    3. Cover and cook on high for 6 hours.

OMG...it is to die for! Tender, tasty, and super easy to make. BTW, we changed the recipe a bit and we love it this way too. We don't add the cream of mushroom soup. Instead, we put fresh mushrooms (slice or whole - regular, shitake, or baby portabella mushrooms) and in the last hour we add a cup of cream (light or heavy).

  • Buffalo Chicken:

    3-4 chicken breasts

    1 cup (or a little more - I did a 12oz bottle yesterday) Frank's Red Hot sauce

    1 pkg dry Ranch Dressing

Cook on high 3-4 hours, until chicken is done, shred chicken and stir with the sauce before serving.  We like it as sandwiches, on quesadillas or pizza.

  • A little late but I will post this anyways:

     Angel Hair Chicken

    3-4 frozen chicken breasks

    1 cup chicken broth

    1 bag frozen broccoli

2 can cream of mushroom soup

    1 pack Italian Dressing Mix

    1 brick of Cream Cheese

    2 T chives

    2 T Minced Onion

Throw all of the above in the crockpot on low and let cook all day. Once cooked stir up (Chicken should shred easily) serve with Angel Hair Spaghetti.

     It is Delish!
