Back from first blood draw ***UPDATE***

Not so bad I guess.  Now I just wait for the results.  Good news is that I have online access to my medical records so I will know the results before I leave work today.  Do you think if the #s are good they won't require a 2nd draw on Wed?  Or do they always check for doubling?

 

 ETA: Just got my numbers....hcg is 70 progesterone is 27.2!!!  This is a good start right ladies?!

    I think they check for doubling as that matters more than the number.  Crossing my fingers for good numbers for you!

    I've got everything crossed for great numbers and doubling Jinx!!!

    I went for my first draw this morning too, now like you I am just waiting till this afternoon for the results - sigh. I'm a nervous wreck lol

    Glad the first one is over!

    You will likely go for a second draw because it's not the # that counts, it's the doubling time.

    Wow - I can't believe you have access to your results online. That is incredible! I wish they would let us do that.

    Let us know what your first beta # is when you know!

    My doc didn't have me come back for a second draw even though they said my hcg was a little low (55).  They said that because my progesterone was high (24.1) I didn't need to.  It didn't make sense to me though. 

    BTW - CONGRATULATIONS!  I wasn't on much over the weekend and must have missed the announcement!

    I think if you have had a prior loss they would take a second draw just to make sure everything is looking a-ok!  :)  Good luck!

    BFP on Cycle 14--TWINS! Identical twin boys stillborn at 19wks(1/9/10)
    3 break cycles; took clomid 50mg, BFP #2 Beta #1 35, Beta #2 338!!! Owen was born 2/11/11! 
    TTC#2: 4 cycles on clomid: BFNs
    BFP #3: Cycle #5 100mg clomid; beta #1 21; beta #2 6=CP 
    Cycle #6 break cycle TTC no meds=BFN
    Cycle #7: 150 clomid+ovidril+IUI=BFN (switched to RE)
