Hello (and question)

Good morning! I posted an intro post back in November but we were still on a TTC break. But now we are ready to start a new cycle and I have a question. I'm on CD6 and started Femara on CD3. We are planning on doing an IUI this time. I have NO idea what to expect during the procedure. Any advice? Tips? Also, has anyone done acupuncture before?

We've been on a TTC break since June so I had time to lose weight. I've lost 25 pounds and I am so excited to get back to this. Thanks for any support. I appreciate it!

    I can't help with the IUI question (my first IUI will be early next week), but I've been doing acupuncture for a few months now and LOVE IT. I can't tell you that it is doing anything to help with our fertility problems. But it is the deepest relaxation I have ever experienced and is doing wonders for keeping me sane through all this. It also seems to have helped with my chronic headaches, which is an unexpected bonus. Good luck with everything!

    Different drs might do it differently. My Drs. office is like having a pap done, with a catheter inserted into your uterus. It was pretty simple and not very painful (for me). Your asked to lay there for 15 ? 20 mins. A little Tylenol before will help with the discomfort. I took the day off to relax afterwards.
