Hello ladies! I've been on TTGP since May, more of a lurker and random commenter as you can see by my post count
I have been going back and forth the last couple months between TTGP and here. I feel that I can relate a little more to you ladies, but before I start commenting on posts, I wanted to do a formal intro (working on my siggy but my computer is super slow):
I'm lizard from St Louis, MO. DH and I have been actively TTC#1 since March 2010(not preventing since September 2009). This past September, I began seeing a fertility specialist and after many, many tests and reviewing my charts, he confirmed my suspicion. I have luteal phase defect (average LP 8 days) due to low progesterone. I started Clomid 50mg in November followed by Prometrium after ovulating and still had a LP of 8 days. This past month, we kept the Clomid the same, but added the HCG trigger and really bumped up my progesterone (twice the amount of Prometrium inserts of Crinone). Although, it was another BFN cycle, it extended my LP to 15 days!! I felt like it was the very first cycle we actually had a chance. Anyways, 1-1-2011 began CD1, so I'll go in tomorrow for another ultrasound and I assume on to cycle 3 of clomid.
Even though I'm not an active poster, I look forward to contributing and getting to know you all! Now, here's to getting preggers in 2011--baby dust to all! Joking ![]()
Re: Mind if I join you all??
::lurker butting in::
I'm also in St. Louis. May I ask what RE doctor/practice you are seeing? DO you like them?
::butting out::
