Made the move to Chicago

So we finally made the move from Minneapolis, MN to Chicago, IL.  This has been by far the toughest move---being 30 weeks pregnant.  I'm looking forward to meeting my potential new doctor tomorrow and getting a tour of a new hospital.  I'm also looking forward to learning my way around the town.

This also starts the me being a SAHM.  I'm excited and nervous to stay at home.  I have had a job since 15 so this will be the first time I'm not making my own money. Lots of changes to start out the new year!

    evanston in north of chicago, it takes about 30 min to get downtown from here. hyde park (from what i read on wikipedia!) is south of the loop. glad you are here!

    Welcome to Chicago!  Hyde Park is great. I live North of you downtown.  You'll especially love being here in the summer; there's so much to do!  If you're near the lake, the lake walking/bike path is a great place to take the stroller once the weather's warm.  Hope the new doctor intro goes well tomorrow.  What hospital will you be at?
