I've been posting how my DD has been waking nearly every hour the past few weeks. Our nights have been hell. I dont know why she's suddenly so afraid of her room. She screams the minute I put her in the crib. I tried Ferber last week and gave up after a 6 hour crying session. I tried sleeping in the bed next to her crib and she was still so freaked out. She slept in a rocking chair in the livingroom last night (I was next to her). Any ideas how I can get her back in her room? My house is falling apart over our lack of sleep. Thanks
Re: I think my DD is scared to death of her room and crib
this happened to us a few weeks ago. If you have a smoke detector that blinks like we do, we put a piece of black electrical tape over the light and also got her a night light.
Worked like a charm
Around the age of 2 we got him a nightlight (not too bright though)--and that helped a lot. He seemed to be more scared at that age than beforehand. He's never been a great sleeper though---but maybe it will help your LO.
No possible ear infection from being flat?? She will sleep sitting up but not flat?
