2 multi-thousand dollar BFNs
4 completely unnecessary PIO shots just so I don't get yelled at Tuesday
1 estrogen patch that's making me short of breath and cranky
1 dog with intestinal parasites
1 dog possibly with intestinal parasites
2 humans worried about intestinal parasites now themselves
2 heaters broken, our house and the rental
1 pool pump broken, the rental
3 HVAC vents leaking rainwater, the rental
1 set of bathroom cabinets sanded for restaining
1 can of the wrong color stain
1 pre-fabbed Corian vanity top with dual sinks bought off craigslist, bought in the wrong size

There's just no way my car is going to start in the morning.
Re: An accounting of the last 36 hours of my life
I think you're right - the estrogen effects are probably irrelevant. Sorry you are having a crappy day.

Boo! I'm sorry, you need to catch a break!
Ruger had these big long worms when he was a puppy, right after we first got them. They were roundworms, though, I think. I wasn't wearing my glasses and I took him out to poo and looked at it and was like, when did he eat spaghetti noodles? Then they moved. They treated them with medicine. I hope they are contained in the one dog and that they are just as easy to treat!
And I'm sorry about the BFNs, I know it's annoying to hear, but I'm still holding out some hope since AF hasn't arrived. I hope it's OK for me to say that.
Roundworms are really common in puppies. These worms are flat and segmented, so we think they're tapeworms. Still not a big deal to treat at all. Just a few hundred more bucks at the vet :-(
Re: AF - she ain't comin' till I've stopped the PIO for a few days. I've done 26 shots in the past 12 days. Even on oral progesterone, it took almost a week of not taking it for AF to show.

I am sorry about your BFN, and that sounds like a really bad day. I hope tomorrow is better for you.
I was just thinking about how bad the last part of my day has been. My paralyzed dog is having bloody diarrhea. So, that has meant about five baths for him since 6:00, an extra load of laundry, and a lot of mopping and scrubbing. He has always had a sensitive stomach so I keep medicine for it at home. I just hope it kicks in soon and we aren't up bathing all night.
My vet told me that you can only get tapeworms by ingesting an infected flea. My dog had them once. If that is true at least you won't have to worry about getting them yourself.
