WOO! I am rocking the formula!

Woo! As some of you know, I am collecting formula for the food bank here in Lakewood -- the police chief told me that they are in extreme need, and donations tend to drop off right after the holidays. My goal is to fill my trunk full of it and then take in the big donation. I even wrote a column about my goal.

Thanks to formula checks sent by the lovely chibipoe and coupons I got from Collin's pediatrician's office, I got SEVEN bottles/cans of formula tonight for free. Five Similac and two Enfamil. WOOO! I am rolling!

I took forever at the checkout (who knew so many people were at Target at 8 p.m. on a Sunday?!), but the woman behind me said (when I apologized) that she couldn't possibly be mad since I was doing something so nice. (She heard me talking to the guy ringing me up.)

If any of you have formula checks, coupons or samples, I will GLADLY take them off your hands. I really hope this will make even a slight difference!

Very cool. I know the coupons are collected and they pile up outside the Evergreen Baby Classes. Maybe you could get a insider to scoop them up for you? It seemed like a lot of them are tossed or expire before they get snapped up....
