Sometime in late December or 2010, Jes' waist disappeared. She and her waist had been close since the year Jes was thirteen. The waist was a constant friend, kindly holding Jes' skirts and pants in place and giving shape to her other clothing. It was very consistent, no matter how much or what Jes ate the waist stayed cooperatively between 24 and 28 inches. Jes admits that she took her waist for granted. She didn't pamper it and baby it like some women do. She often made comments about feeling large. The ultimate offense came when she neglected to get her waists permission to have a baby. The waist began to feel very unwanted. It stewed in silence as the baby infringed on its territory more and more. Then the baby had the nerve to start kicking the waist. Finallly, the waist had had enough. The next morning when Jes woke up, her waist was gone. She is hoping after the baby is born her waist will come back to her, but friends of the two say that there is a chance the waist will never be back. If the waist does come back, both know that things will never be quite the same between them again.
