We have the old Britax Marathon for us, and for our Colorado car seat we just grabbed some Evenflo thing at Target. Gotta say, I've missed the fancy-pants Britax since we've been here. The Evenflo is difficult to adjust and is a real pain if you're switching cars a lot.
We have the old britax marathons in both of our cars now, and her infant seat at my mom's (it goes to 30 lb and DD is only 22 max). We love it! A coworker of DH's gave him a barely used evenflo and he tried to use it but after using my britax, he made me get him his own marathon - same complaints as Peppernut and he wasn't moving the seat from car to car.
We have two Evenflo Triumph Advance seats that we use/d with my 3 year old. I really like it. It is affordable, comfortable and I really like the way the straps tighten/loosen with a side handle (so you can easily adjust the tension of the straps each time you put them in the seat).
Britax marathon in both cars plus Costco convertible seat for my mother's car. We also take the Costco one on airplanes since it's much lighter than Britax.

We have one Britax, I think it's the Marathon and one Maxi-Cosi Priori. I prefer the Maxi-Cosi, it's not as huge as the Britax, it is rated very highly and I like the styling.

We love our Evenflo Triumph car seats. The Advance is in my car because we take it on longer trips (gotta have a memory-foam cushioned behind) and the model one step down is in DH's car.

Oh... And nothing for the Grandparents since they don't live close, but honestly, if I was to get them one, I would get another Britax. The nice thing about it is they are super easy to install and I think the odds of them getting it right are better, since I wouldn't expect them to keep it int he car all the time.

We have the Britax Marathon 70. LO is very comfy in it and I like the new side impact protection.
