What crackers do you give your toddler? Tegan seems to love crackers and I've been giving her club and Ritz cracker as well as Saltines, but there seems like there may be a healthier option out there.
Animal crackers are a HUGE staple at our house! I don't know why, but I never thought of giving DS saltines. I guess I was afraid he'd cut the roof of his mouth or something like that.
Also, DS likes the baby goldfish crackers once in a while.

Some Target cookie-cracker things (cranberry-apple and strawberry)
DH is very diligent about reading labels and figuring out which are the best types for sodium and sugar based on serving size. There might be better options out there than those I listed, but those are very good as far as vegan options go.
Contemplating the snow.

I give DS Breton Crackers in Multigrain and a few other "flavors" and I also give him Annie's Organic Whole Wheat crackers which are shaped like bunnies.
DD is obsessed with Wheat Thins. She picked that habit up from snacking with my mom. I have to hide the box in a high cabinet because she goes crazy if she just sees the box, but I think they're a decent option. She usually snacks on those or the graham flavored goldfish. And since she learned how to say "fish" and made the connection last week that those look like fish, she can now ask for them by name. A major bonus to me in snack options.
The Annie's crackers that are bunny shaped! DS eats all of the flavors, and the snack mix with pretzels isn't very salty. He also likes Goldfish, Triscuit, the mini Club crackers and Wheat Thins.
Annie's wheat bunnies are our staple, but she LOVES anything that looks like a cracker. She sees them and starts saying "crack-KUH! crack-KUH! I'll give her one or two if we're eating some with cheese before a late dinner on a weekend. She loves those plain, flavorless water crackers.
Jack eats Puffs, Gerber crunchies, goldfish crackers, animal crackers, and Ritz. He's so picky so the last thing I'm thinking about right now is a different option.
We do whole grain Ritz, goldfish, puffs, organic cheese curls, organic wheat graham crackers (I think they are gross, but he loves them), really anything we have. I recently started putting kix cereal in a puffs container since he goes nuts when he sees the puffs container and we ran out. DH also gives him little bits of chips, which DS loves.

They don't have that much salt on them..no additional salt on top of the cracker. I like them a lot more than Goldfish. I got mine at Whole Foods.
