advice about 8yr old boy

I have a step son and my husband is wondering if there is stuff he should be sitting down with his son and talking to him about. i had told him this is the age girls start wondering about periods and bras. so is there stuff the boys need to know about?

    If he has access to a computer teach him about not giving out any personal information, cyber stalking, not to go into chat rooms..etc.  If he already hasn't talked about drugs, not to take any type of pills that might be offered to him at school, after school, playground..etc.

    Of course the basics of personal hygiene too if he hasn't already done so.

    Also depending how "developed" he is he may start getting underarm hair..etc in about a year or 2 so if he's on the fast track for that he might want to clue him in on a few body changes too.
