Baby Zoey has arrived

Hello all. Zoey was born by c-section on monday at 5:22 pm. She is 6 lbs 14 oz and 20 inches long.

We decided to go ahead and do the c-section due to the fact that the dr was guesstimating she was already 8 1/2 pounds. I was not dialating despite intense contractions and the baby had not dropped far enough. 

It turns out that the cord was actually wrapped around her neck twice and that is why. We would have had to do an emergency c-section no matter what. 

She is now doing great and the pediatrician said she is absolutely perfect. No problems at all.

I will post a pic when I can.

Thanks to everyone who answered any questions I had this last year and keeping my fingers crossed for all.

    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...
